FAQ (12)
-
01 /What makes a modern e-commerce experience successful?
Leading e-commerce experiences do more than simplify transactions. They combine brand storytelling, intuitive product discovery, performance optimization, and scalable technology to create experiences that drive engagement, loyalty, and growth.
-
02 /What is composable commerce?
Composable commerce is a modular approach where separate technologies are integrated to bring together a best-in-class experience. This offers flexibility to choose the right tools, adapt faster to changing needs, and scale without lock-in to a single monolithic platform.
-
03 /What is a headless e-commerce architecture?
Headless commerce separates the front-end experience from back-end systems like commerce engines and content platforms. This creates greater flexibility for design, performance, personalization, and multi-channel experiences while allowing teams to evolve systems independently over time.
-
04 /How do you approach e-commerce strategy?
Our approach starts with discovery – getting to know your business, brand, customer, technology, and competitive set. This provides the context needed to craft the strategy for an experience that best supports both near and long-term objectives.
-
05 /Can you help improve an existing e-commerce experience?
Many of our engagements focus on optimization. We can help from a design, technology, or customer experience perspective, removing points of friction, improving conversion paths, and uncovering opportunities to drive increased performance.
-
06 /How do you approach e-commerce platform migrations?
Successful migrations involve more than moving data from one platform to another. They require careful planning around architecture, integrations, customer experience, SEO preservation, content structure, and operational workflows to ensure long-term scalability and stability. This all starts with a clear plan and roadmap that we create in collaboration with our clients.
-
07 /What technologies do you work with?
We work across a broad ecosystem of technologies including Shopify Plus, Sanity CMS, Algolia, Akeneo, Klaviyo, ERP platforms, PIMs, headless architectures, and composable commerce frameworks. Our approach is vendor-agnostic and focused on selecting the right tools for the needs of the business.
-
08 /How do you support B2B e-commerce experiences?
We have deep experience leading B2B e-commerce engagements and supporting the unique needs of B2B buyers. This work requires custom user journeys that enable product specification, quoting, account management, and integration with operational systems that help to simplify business-specific workflows.
-
09 /Do modern e-commerce platforms support AI-driven discovery?
Yes. Modern e-commerce platforms can significantly improve visibility across both search engines and AI-driven discovery systems through structured content, strong metadata, and clean technical architecture. Increasingly, differentiated brand content plays a critical role helping AI systems understand what makes a brand distinct, credible, and relevant.
-
10 /How do you determine the right e-commerce tech stack?
Selecting the right e-commerce technology stack depends on many factors including business goals, operational complexity, internal capabilities, scalability requirements, and integration needs. We help clients evaluate platforms and define architectures that support both current requirements and future growth.
-
11 /How long does a typical e-commerce project take?
E-commerce site redesign and replatforming projects can take anywhere from 4 to 6 months with larger and more complex sites requiring 6 to 10 months. Timelines vary depending on many factors including the scale of the business, complexity and depth of the product catalog, the required technology stack and integrations, and overall project scope and requirements.
-
12 /Do you support ongoing optimization after launch?
Yes. E-commerce performance requires continuous iteration. We regularly support clients with optimization roadmaps, experimentation, analytics analysis, feature enhancements, performance improvements, and ongoing evolution of the customer experience.
